98% of all blocks should be:-
- longer than 480 mm,
- wider than 252 mm
- higher than 60.9 mm.
None must be:-
- shorter than 479 mm,
- narrower than 251 mm
- lower than 60 mm.
Frozen blocks should not normally exceed 4mm above frame height.
To help keep frames true a specially designed frame straightener has been developed [cost about DKK4400 F.O.B. Denmark, through Peterson Beck A/S]. Frames can straightened in most workshops but their tolerances and squareness are critical to the quality of your end product.
